Misunderstandings arising from bad communication can result in derailed projects, missed deadlines, and unintentional spread of misinformation. All of these have the potential to damage working relations with colleagues and destroy team dynamics. Develop and improve your one-to-one communication skills with this interactive course. Communication underlies everything we do and proper communication directly correlation to the success of a project. Through real-life practice and individual advice you will learn to:

This course is designed for all members of the Society and non-member chemists. The Engaging Colleagues in Dialogue course is for professionals, academics, and researchers, as well as undergraduate and post-doctorate students. The communication skills attained in this course are applicable in work and school environment as well as in volunteer ACS roles.
